Good grief, is it Wednesday already? Gracious. Hope you had a wonderful holiday. We went to southern California for a few days of fun, which included an exquisite lunch with dear friends in San Juan Capistrano for me, just down the street from El Adobe, site of this season’s Bunco Fiasco. I honked as I drove by. During my vacation, not a lot of new news from the Housewives, but here’s what I’ve got:
· Last week I told you about a videotape that made the intertubes of a deposition given by Camille’s bodacious manhunk, Dimitri, in which an audiotape of Camille seeming to threaten Dimitri’s babymama was played. Camille’s “people”, meaning DD, immediately contacted the media to tell them that the whole thing was out of context, that Camille and the babymama had had a very long, pleasant conversation that was not on the tape before the babymama threatened to malign Camille in the press or some such. Pretty much what I thought. Immediately thereafters Dimitri got a restraining order which prevents the babymama from posting videotaped depositions on the intertubes going forward. Which should not be a necessary step, but seems to be in this case.
· Moving on, Tamra is on Dr. Oz this week talking about her cervical cancer scare, which was one of the reasons she decided to have those damn Tamrassets removed once and for all. On Facebook, Tamra posted that she had some sort of procedure done to remove the cancerous spots, and that as a result she would not be able to carry another baby at her age afterward. So any future Barney/Judge babies will come along via adoption or surrogacy.
· Rumors are flying that Sheree is off RHOA. Supposedly she was flown to NYC by the Bravo people for their upfront party, where they introduce all the upcoming programming, then told she was being fired upon arrival. Why they would go to all that trouble and expense rather than summarily dismiss her over the phone or via her people, I don’t know. Sheree claims she was on vacation in the Caribbean.
· My friend Alex McCord has a new show, on the internet! It’s called Coffee Shop Confessions and airs on a YouTube channel called CafeMom. The first episode ran on Thursday and can be found at http://bit.ly/CSC101.
· Sylvester Stallone is suing Mo Hadid, host of Pandora’s extravagant engagement party (the one with the camel and Kyle doing the splits) for doing shoddy remodel work on his home, and he’s blaming Lisa because she’s the one who recommended Mo in the first place! Lisa claims she only introduced them socially and never vouched for Mo’s work. I am wondering whether Sammy from Shah’s was involved, and also wondering whether this might possibly somehow relate to the gossip that Mrs. Stallone, a friend of Adrienne’s, is a possible new Housewife for season 3.
· And finally: I can’t remember if I have mentioned this before, but Canada is getting its own RH franchise, the Real Housewives of Vancouver, which will air on Canada’s Slice channel! One of the cast members is 29 and has been married eight times, which is how she’s accumulated her bank account. And to think people blame those gays for the deterioration of the institution of marriage…

Spotted this little tidbit on BuddyTV: “After spending time in the hospital getting her nose job sinus operation, Alexis Bellino of RHOC is heading to the set of General Hospital. Alexis is rumored to have a recurring role on the daytime soap opera.” Lord, help us all! She’s succeeding in spite of herself.
