REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY – 5/30/12

Hola! It’s finally here: the RHOC Field Trip Episode! But first, a few tidbits from here and there:

· A few weeks ago news got out about a pretty ugly taped phone conversation between Camille Grammer and her luscious Greek boyfriend’s babymama. Well, Camille is now suing said babymama for “leaking private information to the media”, according to the NY Daily News. I am not sure exactly what sort of tort she is alleging, but she’ll find something, I am sure.

· “Someone” has informed RadarOnline that Brandi and Lisa have teamed up as the “mean girls” for this season of RHOBH. Can’t help but wonder if this “someone” is the same person who accused Lisa of leaking information to RadarOnline on last year’s reunion show?

· Meanwhile, the cause of Taylor’s epic Ojai meltdown was supposedly an argument between her and Brandi about the fact that Brandi has signed a contract to write a tell-all, including information about her failed marriage to Mr. LeAnn Rimes, which is a move Tay considers hypocritical after Brandi accused Tay of cashing in on Russell’s death. My take is: yes, and yes!

· Across town in New Jersey, “someone” has been telling RadarOnline (which loves this stuff, obviously) that (a) Caroline is scheming to get Teresa kicked off, and (b) Melissa and Joe were cast based on a videotaped promise to producers that they would do anything they had to to get Teresa kicked off. Seems “someone” is very concerned about Teresa getting kicked off. Snore.

· Last week Star magazine was reporting that former RHONY Bethenny Frankel was getting a divorce. Well, this week the news is that she is simply stoking rumors to generate interest in her soon-to-launch talk show, and in fact may be hiding a pregnancy. Tamara Tattles posted a photo of Bethenny walking around with Bryn on her hip in which the famously-skinny beverage shiller sports the kind of baby-shelf I suffer from that caused a woman at my gym to ask when I was due. So I think it could go either way – you?

· And finally: RHONY premieres next Monday, and according to the HuffPost there will be dueling premiere parties” hosted by different Wives. It seems season 5 will be all about new Housewife Aviva Drescher versus the Ramonjamonster. This past week, in fact, Sonja made a catty comment to the New York Observer that Aviva wasn’t really a philanthropist. Aviva’s response was that Sonja is an alcoholic so who cares what she says?
