REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY – 4/22/13

Where were we? Oh, right: planning the invite list for another hairpulling Housewives party. Before we get to the inevitable debacle, here’s the news:

* Congratulations are in order for Gretch and Slimey Slade, who are officially engaged! Doesn’t it feel like we’ve been through this before? Apparently Gretch did the proposing on top of a building in LA that has no doubt been the scene of many Bachelor rappelling dates. The proposal was filmed for RHOC so we’ll all get to feel like we were part of it.

* Up the coast, rumors that Lisa “Lips and Nips” Rinna would be joining the case of RHOBH have been scuttled by Bravo itself. My personal theory is that there was too much potential overlap with Kyle; Lisa has long owned a boutique, is in an apparently happy marriage of many years to a man some perceive as hot, and is also the mother of all girls, so as different as they may be they occupy the same general Wife category. I know some people … Continue reading

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY – 4/15/13

Greetings. It certainly seems particularly inappropriate to be spending time watching, let alone talking about, this inane display of post-shark rectal inspection, but then again I suppose we all need a break from real-reality sometimes, don’t we? My own heart and thoughts are with the people of Boston, especially those directly affected, as I am sure yours are too.

In other news:

* The out continues to fall from the bloody Easter brawl in New Jersey. At this point Jacqueline and Chris Laurita and Joe Gorga, as … Continue reading

REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY – 4/8/13

Greetings! Time to resume the clamless clambake at Chateau Dubrow, but first, the news:

* The NBC upfronts were held last week in NYC, and who attends is a good indicator of who is actually going to be on the upcoming seasons of shows they are promoting. For RHONY, only Mo Singer, Holla Thomson, and Carole Radziwill were in attendance. Aviva, Sonja Morgan, and Kountess Lu were absent and conspicuously quiet on Twitter. Also attending from BH was Taylor Armstrong, an unfortunate surprise, but as that season just wrapped up we can continue to hope she’s going to be let go gently before season 4 begins. (I’m personally predicting that if Kyle hangs in, Tay will at least continue in FOH status, especially as Feige has decided she has had enough and someone has to like Kyle.)

* The out continues to fall from the big brawl in New Jersey over Easter weekend, and last week the local prosecutor decided to file assault and “terroristic threats” charges against Joe Gorga, Chris Laurita, and Jacqueline, who … Continue reading
